The main aim of the German Packaging Act is to prevent or reduce the impact of packaging waste on the environment, as well as making retailers more responsible for promoting the use of eco-friendly products.
All producers/initial distributors that place packaging filled with goods on the German market must register with the LUCID Packaging Register and provide details about the different packaging types they use as well as their brand names.
This means that packaged goods may only be distributed in Germany if their producers have registered with the LUCID Packaging Register.
The AOP+ Lucid registration number is DE3201109735059, you may place this to the marketplace you are using.
You can not use AOP+ LUCID ID if you sell products that are fulfilled through another company. You will need to register your business with the Central Packaging Registry and pay fees in order get proper certification.
