1. Open the image you want to make a custom shape pillow, we chose this handsome pug as a sample:
2. Draw around your image to give your cushion its shape. (more space is better for the sewing line)
We use CURVATURE PEN TOOL on Photoshop but this can be also done in several different ways
3. The artwork can have a background or be transparent, white or solid color. It's completely up to you.
We use the outer line to cut around it to give the fabric its shape (1)?
We use the inner line to sew behind it to give the cushion its form (2) ? 
4. The gap between the image line prevents the image distortion on the sides of the cushion due to curvature when it is sewn and filled.
5. Once it is ready, we print the artwork and it's mirrored imaged to use it on the back. This way we will be able to align the front and back to form the cushion.
If you have TEXTS on your design, the back image needs to be prepared separately due to mirroring
